Class Notes for “Conscious Creation for the New Year”
New Year’s Resolutions:
Why do we make New Year’s Resolutions?
· To start doing something new or different
· To stop doing something harmful, limiting, painful, or otherwise detrimental to our health our progress
· To achieve or acquire something new
· To become something new or different
· To reach some goal
· To change something in or about our lives
*It’s all about change – or, more specifically, about creating change in our lives. And, in the moment we make that resolution, we are conscious of the change we wish to create.
What’s your resolution? ______________________________________________________________
Why are you making it? _______________________________________________________________
**By the way, why wait until a New Year? What’s wrong with NOW? Is there a faulty belief system in place that this particular day is different from any other day and your wishes are more likely to come true by virtue of the ceremonial or ritualistic use of collective momentum – or do people simply think that the idea of “starting fresh” is somehow more effective than simply learning to think effectively? Don’t wait for a particular day to decide what you want and take steps toward it; and don’t wait another second to learn how your mind and body operates to create such things, or generate results.
Why do we fall short, forget, or let-go of our resolutions?
· We’re too busy
· We forget
· We set goals that are too high, too hard, or unrealistic
· We depend on will-power rather than the power that creates every other part of our lives*
· And a million-and-one other reasons and excuses…
What resolutions have you made and then not realized? _____________________________________
What was your reason for “dropping the ball?” ____________________________________________
Secrets Of Conscious Creation:
(*Conscious creation requires that you consciously program and engage that “unconscious” part of your mind that is responsible for creating the events, experiences, and perceptions of your life.)
1. – You must know what it is you want to create for yourself.
2. – You must be able to imagine it, or visualize it, and the way it will feel to you.
3. – You must be open to receiving it.
4. – You must believe it is possible for you to receive it.
5. – You must eliminate any doubts, fears, worries, and other obstacles around receiving it.
6. – You must follow your heart and act on inspiration – taking obvious action steps as they present themselves to you.
7. – You must maintain a positive state of mind. Patience is a virtues; impatience implies a lack of faith.
8. – You must say, “Yes!” and step into your new reality – receiving it fully when it arrives.
9. – You must be open to receiving it in any way it might come to you.
10. – You must take personal responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Quit blaming others for your failures/lessons and how you spend your time. Time is money; how are you spending yours?
Tools, Techniques, And Strategies For Conscious Creation:
1. – Write it down. Keep a Journal of your thoughts, ideas, and inspirations. Make lists and plans. Draw pictures, etc…

8. – Employ a coach. Ask someone who’s “been there and done that,” or who knows how this process works.
9. – Learn to listen and pay attention to others and the world around you. Give – be generous. Serve others. Learn to be helpful. Create value in your world.
10. – Study, learn, research, etc… (Learn about your goals and learn to use mind-power vs. will-power)
