Does The Law Of Attraction Really Work?

The Law of Attraction has received lots of attention lately from people who are fascinated with the idea that they could actually take a more active role in creating their life conditions, as well as from those who think it’s all a big scam. I can tell you from personal experience that, regardless of what you choose to call it, the natural forces people commonly refer to as, “The Law of Attraction,” are constantly at work in every part of the Universe. The disagreements about whether or not the Law of Attraction actually works are really more about a choice of terminology and definitions – and a lack of awareness and focused thought that is common among skeptical people, or people filled with doubt. The Law of Attraction is not a “tool” that can work or not work; it is simply a way of explaining natural forces so that you and me can apply our thoughts in a more conscious, constructive and creative way.

The Law of Attraction is no different than the Law of Gravity; in fact, I think that these laws may be the exact same law expressed on a different scale. Nonetheless, knowing about the law of gravity is much different than knowing how to effectively work with it in order to produce heavier-than-air, powered flight, or space travel – both of which require some knowledge of the law, but neither of which is produced solely by virtue of that knowledge or understanding. In other words, Sir Isaac Newton may have known an awful lot about the forces and nature of Gravity; but I’ve got a pilot’s license. Who do you want landing your airplane? Likewise, simply knowing about the Law of Attraction does not make one a master of creating their own reality – it just gives them some insight as to where their experiences might be coming from. Continued study and attention to the Law of Attraction, and the mechanisms involved in the creation of your experience, are necessary if you want to become a conscious creator in your own life experience.

To consciously and effectively use the Law of Attraction, you need to know a little bit about it, and consciously make an effort to direct your thoughts in the direction you want them to go. As I mentioned before, the Law of Attraction isn’t a “tool;” but having tools – such as Visualization, Meditation, EFT, Z-Point, etc. – will dramatically increase your effectiveness and improve your success rates when working on creating conditions and circumstances that you consciously choose for yourself. Skepticism is okay; but it doesn’t create the same outcomes as positive expectancy. So don’t worry so much about whether or not the Law of Attraction is real or not; just pay attention to your thoughts – and make an effort to keep them positive and focused on what you want. After all, how much do you think about whether or not Newton or Einstein were 100% right about Gravity? You just work with it by not jumping off buildings; and, at some level, you simply have faith that it will keep you from flying off into space. Try approaching the Law of Attraction in the same way and you just might be surprised at what it produces for you.
