So right now be overjoyed for the variety of imperfection that the world is made of. Be glad for the opposites of you. Be glad for all those who are less perfect than you, for they occupy a different place in the world. Perhaps their place is to point out to you that you need to resolve something within yourself. Perhaps they are a clue inserted just for you.”

“You are receiving messages from Me day and night. I am ever sending you messages. And they reach you. That is My part. Now it is yours to open them. Often you do not even notice their arrival, so how can you open them? You left them piled up outside your door like newspapers. Pick up My messages. They are for you. And they are good news for you.
The headlines read: GOD WANTS YOU. But you think, Oh-oh, what does He want me for? But My messages are nothing for you to fear. You are guilty of nothing. You fear you are guilty of something, and that you have a tongue-lashing or worse coming. No, you have love coming.

With our without your awareness of My messages waiting for you, you fear that there is some doom trying to catch up to you. What is the contrary of doom? I think it is good fortune, love, your desires’ answers coming to you…God has love letters for you. What do you think this is that you are reading right now?”

“All the times you have said that, if you were God, you would design a different world. Confess. You have ideas for what you would add, and what you would take away, but upon what are your ideas based? Momentary fears, regrets, wishes, but they are not enough to build a world upon. Perhaps you would design a laid-out world, one with no uncertainty, totally mapped out, no wrong turns, one filled with flowers, an easy life, joy and never pain, health and never sickness, truth and never false, life only, never death. That is the world I designed, but you have not seen it so.

You would have designed a world without dirt so you would never have to clean, but what would food grow in? In what soil would only flowers grow? And the good weeds that do, what in your plan would replace them? Tell me, how far can limited thinking take you?

And so, I remind you that I am looking out for you every minute, and I know what I am doing.”

Cease believing in limits. There are none but those in which you believe. You heart can travel anywhere. Your heart can take you everywhere. Your heart expands your mind. Your mind accepts limits. Your heart knows better. In your heart of hearts, you know the vastness of this enterprise of life that you have set forth on.
Remove your clinging to limits as you would a vine that has wrapped itself around you. Cling now to the vastness of no limits.

Nothing limits you. Do you hear this? Nothing limits you.”

"Something grand is before you. Miniscule is not before you. Miniscule is behind you. That is why you must not keep returning to the past. You will miss the present. You really don’t want to miss the present. The present is presented to you. I present it to you right now. I present an unopened package of wonders, and it has to be opened right away, or the moment is gone.

Pull the little ribbon of time that seems to box it. In truth, it is a steady pulling of the ribbon. You pull it, and it slips from its knot and unwinds itself before your very eyes. And, with a gasp of joy, you remove the cover the ribbon held loosely, for life is given to you in breaths and in amazement.

And yet, sometimes you are sad with the gift of life and do not welcome it, this gift of life from God, the highest gift bestowed upon you from the Highest of All. You were thinking of one thing, and I another, so your eyes beheld disappointment, and you thought that something was withheld from you. Nothing is withheld from you. You withhold from yourself. Behold. Whatever is before you is a gift. And you must find its treasure."

"The antidote for misery is to think less about yourself. When you look at world events and think you are suffering for others, know it is the twang of your own pain that you are feeling. You want to help, and yet your feeling sorry for another adds another log of misery to the fire.

Reduce misery in the world by uplifting yourself. When you feel miserable, it is echoed to the world. Your feeling sorry for the world does not benefit it. Just as with an individual who is hurting, your feeling sorry for him does not help him. It may, indeed, help keep him where he is. Stop feeling sorry for the world. With the power of your heart and mind, raise the world above the mire it seems to be in. When you embrace misery, you offer alms to it."
