Recession-Proof Your Relationships: Don’t Worry – Be Happy!
There’s no such thing as “hard times.” There’s just time; and we can make the best of it, or the worst of it. Nobody can predict or control what happens in the future; but we can all control how we respond to future events. People tend to dramatize or over-emphasize the events, circumstances, conditions, and situations they encounter in life; and, when we become attached to those things, or when we identify ourselves by the things that happen around us, we create stress and negative emotions. Stress negatively affects us and everyone around us; and stress and negativity can ruin any relationship – be it with a spouse, family member, friend, or co-worker. But you can create bomb-proof relationships by keeping your cool and using your head, rather than your emotions, to deal with perceived difficulties in your life.
The Belief Formula on Ponder Central: Thoughts are Things — ALL of Them…
PONDER on THIS for Friday, January 23rd, 2009 by Pete Koerner in THE BELIEF FORMULA
“Do you really think that those thoughts that you think of as prayers actually get routed to a different place than all the others, as if they had been addressed like a letter? Well, if you do, that’s great – you are at least aware that you possess many very powerful attributes of the mind. Do you think that, in addition to answering all these prayers, God has time to sit around sorting your mail (thoughts) for you? Do you also believe that this mechanism only works in time of dire need? Where would these rules come from, anyway? “Ask and ye shall receive…” is not attached to a long list of conditions and restrictions – just try it and see. ”

BEing The Titus Concept: Life is a mirror
At every level of your Life and in every area of your Life, what you see, touch, smell, taste, hear, and sense is all coming from within you. Does that make sense? If not, it’s alright; most people don’t get it or don’t believe it. I know I didn’t at first. It took me a while to put my ego aside, and stop blaming and faulting others and myself.
Here’s a tip: get rid of the words fault and blame from your vocabulary. If you continue to use them, they will continue to dis-empower you. So take your power back and stop using them.
Here is a simple way to look at your Life being a mirror of what is going on inside of you. Imagine you or your body as a movie projector, the camera lenses is coming out of your chest, the film is circulating within your body, and the screen that the movie is playing on is your Life story that is played out in front of you everyday. Do you know what is in that film? The accumulation of all the experiences you have had since you were born.
What do all of those experiences add up to? Your ego. What is your ego? It is all of the attitudes, beliefs, emotions, feelings, thoughts, actions, patterns and everything else you have consciously or unconsciously accepted from others and yourself, including DNA, organizations and institutions.
Depending on who you listen to, it is estimated that 3-7% of the world’s population is fully aware. That means about 93% of the population accepts what is going on in their lives as ‘Truth’! Some of that ‘Truth’ is based on the junk that the ego has accepted through all of their Life experiences, whether they were valid for them or not!
The film is corrupted! Do you see?!!! Yet, that is the film that is running inside of you and projecting out to your external reality. The film is an accumulation of all the experiences you’ve had, with the ego using them to go into survival mode to keep you moving forward, and supposedly even protecting you. You know what that is called? FEAR. Think about it.
I am willing to guess that many of your choices and decisions are fear based. You don’t do this or don’t do that because you remember the pain, scar and hurt of a prior experience. Through the ego you don’t allow the good that Life has to offer into your Life, because the ego is supposedly protecting you. Your 10th grade teacher may have told you that you will be a success! Yet ten years later you are looking for a job that fulfills you, while being at a job you are unhappy at. All the while your ego is reminding you how successful you are because at least you have a job. This is just one example of what the ego does for you.
What is the alternative? Live and function from your Heart. When you do, your external reality will have a magnificent shift.

Heavenletters on Ponder Central — "Let Go and Let God"
PONDER on THIS Special Message for Sunday, January 18th, 2008 by Gloria Wendroff in HEAVENLETTERS
“You make too many demands. That is the same as to say that you try to take control. Any personal control you take is too much. You even control you letting go of control. You order its release, but you order it only so far. You still keep your eye on it. Your attention is more on control than it is on being. You cannot be into your beingness and control at the same time.
You order outcomes. Ordering a particular outcome denies you others. Control is holding on to your desire rather than allow it to fulfill itself. You do not have to order the dawn of the day. The sun comes without your control. You do not order the rose to bloom. It blooms from its own bloomability.
The most beautiful things are those that you do not try to control, or even imagine to control. The most beautiful events happen as if on their own. Love comes on its own. It bids itself to come. I have set everything in motion, and you must allow it to be what it is and reach where it will.”

HCG Diet Dangers: Is Using HCG Worth The Risks?
Many people, when hearing of a “new magic-bullet,” don’t want to hear anything other than how it can help them and where they can obtain their new-found cure or miracle. The emotional turmoil of struggling with weight-issues blinds many people to the obvious fallacies propagated by those selling the new cure, as well as the many risks associated with invasive attempts to alter their appearance. If you want to take a risk with a new diet remedy, that’s your decision; but there are at least two-things you should know about hCG first: For starters, it’s not new; and, it’s never been conclusively shown or proven to cause or increase weight-loss – not even by the guy who suggested this “new” method of dieting over 50-years ago.
Spirituality Simplified: Who or What is GOD?
By: Jeff Maziarek, author of Spirituality Simplified
Let’s face it: the truth is the only time any of us will absolutely know for certain who or what God really is, is when we finally leave this planet, moving on to the next dimension. For centuries mystics have reported that the reality of God is truly unknowable. Nonetheless, throughout recorded history men and women have shared their opinions and viewpoints about the essence of God, the Creator, the All-That-Is, and so on.
Why – since the dawning of human life – have people continually theorized about God’s nature? Simply put, deep within each of us there is a strong yearning to know where we come from, and to where we will ultimately go whenever we do leave this treasured planet. While that longing exists in all people, many tend to block it out because it is too complex to think about when more pressing day to day concerns surround them. Others ignore the longing because they don’t know quite how to reflect or where to look for the answers. Coming to an understanding of the true nature of God often takes a backseat to earning the day-to-day living and dealing with the challenges associated with human relationships. Because of these obstacles, many people in the so-called ‘civilized world’ have chosen to look to traditional religion for answers.
In a typical Western religion, God is usually depicted as a “white-bearded male who roams around the sky creating the world.” This God is a Being that controls all things occurring in the Universe, knows exactly what everyone does, and is aware when His laws or commandments are being broken. The idea of punishment for one’s sins is at the foundation of this view of God; this God/Father holds us accountable for our wrongdoing. The errors we make are then “judged by various interpreters of his laws who throughout history have claimed access to the Divine.”
Over the centuries, a great many people have accepted the words of these privileged interpreters (e.g., priests, ministers, rabbis, religious scholars) as absolute truth; to doubt — in any way — the validity of their interpretations would be considered a sin. It is interesting that most people are unwilling to either question the authority of these individuals, or to be skeptical concerning the religious texts that allegedly contain the “Word of God.” Why?
Which of these clearly conflicting messages, then, is the actual Word of God?
Heavenletters: Anger And Judgment Are Inside You — They Don’t Come From Others
PONDER on THIS Special Message for Sunday, January 11th, 2008 by Gloria Wendroff in HEAVENLETTERS
“When you feel angry, no matter how justified, you have chosen anger. You have abetted it. You say you want peace, yet who is it who has chosen anger? Did someone force you?
You feel that rights of yours have been infringed upon. And yet, when you feel angry, you have given up your right to peace. When you have been underestimated, and someone else’s opinion of themselves flaunted, you become a bull who sees a red cape. That is another way of saying you become unseeing. No one has more rights than you. No matter what another’s assumed position in life may be, no matter where they put you in their estimation, they do not have the say over you.
When you become angry, you must think they do. When you take affront, you have conceded something that was not yours to concede. Your worth is not negotiable. No one makes your worth more or less except as you accept their estimation of you. You, who disagree so vehemently with their appraisal, apparently agree that their appraisal means something, and so you dispute it.
When you feel lowered in someone’s estimation, it must be that you are listening more to someone else than you are listening to Me.”

Weight Loss Realities: Lose Weight Eating Donuts? Why Not?
What’s more ridiculous, the idea that the health care profession completely understands the human body and has still created a situation where over two-thirds of the U.S. population is overweight, or the idea that maybe they’re wrong about their “obvious” assumptions about food, fat, and weight-loss? If you understand a problem, and are taking the proper steps to resolve it, the problem would go away. If you make assumptions about a problem – based on what you believe to be obvious observations – and your actions seem to only make matters worse, it is time to reevaluate what you think you know about the situation. In the case of America’s futile efforts to win the “battle of the bulge,” we have been operating on a false premise all along; food is not the enemy, our ideas about diet and nutrition are.
