Law of Attraction: Unlocking the Power of Prayer
If you are talking about using your mind to get what you want in life, you are either talking about the Law of Attraction, or Prayer. Of course, whether you are talking about Prayer or the Law of Attraction, you are really just talking about how to use your thoughts to influence or change your experience. Thinking is thinking; and, you are either doing it effectively or you’re not.
HCG Diet on The Morning Show: Safe and Effective, or Dangerous? Does it Matter?
The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet recently featured a segment on the HCG Diet – which involves injections of HCG (Human ChorioGonadotropin) Hormone and a 500-calorie per day diet regimen. As with any diet plan, there were experts on both sides of the issue; and, as with any diet discussion between experts, the point was missed – again. The point remains: There is only one way to effectively and permanently reduce your weight; and it is not with any diet or plan. Diets simply don’t work; and, if it doesn’t work, safety shouldn’t be an issue. Why waste your time, energy, and money doing things that do not work, when you could be learning about what does work?
3-Reasons The Secret Isn’t "Working for You"
The Secret, or The Law of Attraction, isn’t "magic." It isn’t really even a "thing." The Law of Attraction is simply a way of talking about or describing how things seem to come together, or manifest into form from the world of the un-formed. The Law of Attraction is a law, not a tool; it isn’t something that works sometimes, or for some people, and not other times, or for other people. If you don’t think the Law of Attraction is working for you, it is almost certainly because the Law has brought you grief, loss, suffering, debt, unhappiness, or some other misfortune instead of something you think would be "better." The Law is "working" perfectly.
Common Sense — Follow Your Heart to the Right Answer
We commonly refer to sense, senses, or sensation, in the context of sight, hearing, touch, etc. We also use the word sense in reference to intelligence or logic. The fact is that the ears, eyes, nose, skin, and mouth/tongue, are not senses - they are "antennae," or receptors, that pick up specific types of energy or vibration. Sensing is a function of the brain and nervous system - the perception and processing of the information detected by the so-called "sense organs." Sense, in other words, is "what you have in your head."
Perfectionism Preempts Progress, Peace, & Pleasure
In the drive to success, it can be easy to forget your purpose. We seem to get so wrapped-up in keeping-up that we forget the real reason for waking-up. Life has only one purpose; and that purpose is LIFE. In life, we can choose between progress and stagnation, peace and war; and we can choose pleasure or suffering. But choices these are; and a choice must be made. Not choosing is still a choice.

Attracting What You Want
Everyone wants something. If you’re like me, you probably have two or three categories of wants – something like: Things I truly wish to experience (Peace, Health, etc…); Things that would be nice or even great to experience (Luxury, Expensive vacations and things, etc…); and maybe a BIG container labeled “Things I Definitely Don’t Want.” A “don’t want” is actually a “want” for an experience that lacks, or doesn’t include, this “negative” thing we have judged and are now focused or fixated on. Do you know what you want? If you know what you don’t want, turn it around; make a positive out of it, or you’ll find yourself continuing to attract versions of what you don’t want, or, “the things you greatly fear.”
Attract Your Desires By Visualizing Them
Visualization, meditation, prayer, hypnosis, self-hypnosis, guided meditation, mental imagery, and many other terms, are all used to describe one thing - thinking. Particularly, these terms all refer to an act of "tuning-out" the external world and going inside your self in order to "speak" and "listen" to God, or whatever each individual believes is available in the way of Creative guidance. We ask for help, listen for answers, seek guidance, salvation, and instant riches, but in most cases we do so with no real "vision," or plan, for the future. In life, we tend to follow natural laws; this is because we are in nature, and made of the same stuff as nature, and are thereby subject to the laws of nature. If we continue to ignore the fact that we pray, or do any of the above practices, because there is some belief that our thoughts influence our reality, then we may forever lose the power of prayer.
Two-Rules for Attracting Anything You Want - The Secret, Simplified
You can be, do, or have anything you want. Whether you want peace and seclusion, or fortune and fame, you can have it - if you know how to get it. The good news is that there are only two simple things you need to know. The bad news is that, no matter how simple, this wisdom will continue to elude most people. "The sick and the poor," they say, "will always be among us." But, if you can understand these two things, you don’t have to be among the sick and the poor - unless you want to be.
Create the Life of Your Dreams - In Your Sleep!
Practically anyone can conjure up the image of a child saying their prayers before going to sleep at night. "Now I lay me down to sleep," were the first words of prayer I can remember using. Thinking about your day before getting out of bed is a variation of the same principle. Do you take the time before getting up in the morning to imagine what your day might hold for you, or plan the things you want to do? You should; they say, "A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to come unraveled." But why do so many people pray in the morning and before bedtime? Does it really matter when we pray?
